The ruling team does not agree with the initiative of the European Georgia which implies plebiscite on the rule of choice of the president.

The Georgian Dream does not see the need in conductiong the survey of the general public opinion in this regard. The boycott of the part of the opposition is also considered unlawful by the parliamentary majority. Leader of the majority Archil Talakvadze says that the new constitutional project is a guarantee of stability of the country.

"This constitution is aimed at a long-term stable development, it creates a better balance between governmental branches," said Archil Talakvadze.

The constitution draft was registered in the parliament yesterday. This week the composition of the commission which will be involved in public discussions will be defined. Among them are politicians, experts, civil sector representatives.
