A Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on citizens to protect rules of visa regime with Israel. According to the head of the consular department, the current regime envisages only short-term visits to the country.

Long-term visits need a relevant visa. If Georgian citizen does not have it, he will be returned to Georgia from the border.

According to Giorgi Tabatadze, there is a willingness to start negotiations on labor migration agreement with Israel, but the necessary precondition for this is reduce the number of illegal migration from Georgia.
