The European Union Prize for Journalism - International Organization announced the competition today. The prizes will granted for printed , broadcast, online and photo journalism. In addition, the EU mission will hand over its prize to the so-called " peace journalism".

The competition hs been organized by the EU in Georgia since 2012. The winners in different categories will be revealed next year.

"Competition is held annually by t the EU and it is good that young journalists take part, which is a positive indicator of progress. Journalism in Georgia is really trying to develop and it is welcome, " - EU Ambassador to Georgia, Janos Herman said.
