Letter to Donald Trump to support Georgia - opposition calls on government to get more activate

The US Congressmen have addressed President Donald Trump with a letter stating the need to deepen strategic partnership between Georgia and the US. Due to the business environment and location of Georgia, Congressmen advice the President of the United States to start the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the two countries.

The letter, which was sent to the Trump Administration, is signed by 30 Republican and Democrat Congressmen.

The opposition calls on the government to get more activate. The ruling party links the congressmen `s letter to the Georgian Dream` s successful work.

The third sector assesses as important the initiatives on supporting Georgia`s NATO membership and free trade agreement between the US and Georgia. According to them, Georgian authorities should act actively in these directions.
