The position of the prosecutor"s office regarding the start of investigation on the basis of allegations made against Nino Gvenetadze, the chairwoman of the Supreme Court is still unknown. In the talk show "The Choice", the Chair of Georgian Bar Association Zaza Khatiashvili accused Nino Gvenetadze of threatening and pressuring judges.

The Council of Justice, which is obliged to initiate disciplinary prosecution against the Supreme Court chair, does not comment on the issue. The opposition parties are demanding the Chief Prosecutor to summon the Chairwoman of the Supreme Court to the Prosecutor`s Office.

The members of the ruling team think that there is insufficient evidence for serious allegations against Nino Gvenetadze. They think that the opposition is campaigning against the Supreme Court chairperson.

Presumably, the chairwoman of the Supreme Court will have to present the explanation at the closing session of the majority at the end of the week.
