"Georgia is a country that has been occupied by a very powerful neighbor because of the historic injustice. I believe that disappearance of a commander-in-chief in this situation will be a principal problem,"- Giorgi Margvelashvili made an announcement in Batumi, during a public discussion of the Constitutional amendments.
Giorgi Margvelashvili focused on the president"s rights.
" The president will be the commander-in-chief nominally but will not be able to make any decision. Even with the announcement of the war, the president will receive the Prime Minister"s submission and the President has no discretion to decide whether or not to announce a war, "Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
