After the President and Vice President, the Prime Minister of Georgia met with the US Secretary of State. Rex Tillerson and Giorgi Kvirikashvili signed an agreement on the safe exchange of information .

The meeting of Tillerson and Kvirikashvili has already been completed and the Prime Minister made the first comment.

"An interesting, detailed and business meeting," -was the assessment of the meeting by the head of the government.. It is also known that economic relations and defense and security issues were discussed during the negotiations with the Secretary of State.

"The agreement envisages safe exchange of information in the context of the fight against terrorism, which means that within the strategic partnership between the United States and Georgia, we agree that this kind of information will be secured. This once again indicates that Georgia is a trusted partner of the United States. We have the history of 25 years of very important cooperation and we have had a very interesting meeting with the Secretary of State where we talked about all of our relationships. The meeting was very detailed where we discussed the very interesting perspectives on deepening economic relations, strengthening relations in defense and security and the support of the United States to Georgia`s European and Euro-Atlantic integration , " - Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.

The statement was made by Tedo Japaridze, the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia, who noted that it was the most comprehensive discussion of Georgia.

"The Secretary of State promised that Georgia will be permanently on the agenda of the United States,"- said Japaridze.
