Merab Ghoghoberidze, who was accused of organizing the Batumi events, was fined by 300 GEL for the administrative offense.

A criminal case has been launched against Ghoghoberidze. During the trial, the accused said that the judge maked biased decisions because his husband was a patrol police employee.

Merab Ghoghoberidze also talked about artificial restrictions on TV broadcast in the prison.
