The first part of the public opinion poll conducted by the National Democratic Institute is known.

According to NDI"s briefing today, 51% of respondents think that there is democracy in the country and 40% think that it is not.

On the question, which country provides security and defense for Georgia, 35% say that it is the United States, 10% name Russia and 12% of Georgia.

NDI surveyed about 2 500 people in Georgia. The survey was conducted in April.
