According to the public survey conducted by the National Democratic Institute, 48% of respondents believe that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a good fact for Georgia.

However , 42% believes that it was a negative fact.

First part of the public opinion poll conducted by the National Democratic Institute was publicized today. NDI surveyed about 2 500 people in Georgia. The survey was conducted in April. The error margin of research is +/- 2,7%.
