Construction of new engineering structures by the occupation regime along the border line is unacceptable to the Georgian side.

"Our task is to destroy the fences and various ugly artificial barricades on the perimeter of about 100 kilometers, and this is the issue we are working on within all formats. I mean discussion and negotiation format. Our position on this issue and the position of our international partners is in full compliance because this is a general challenge not only in terms of security, but a very heavy and everyday challenge for the people living there, regardless of their ethnicity, "- said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

Defense Minister Levan Izoria says that such statements do not have any international legal justification.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani notes that the Georgian delegation will raise this issue in the nearest round of Geneva talks.
