Tbilisi has responded to the construction of engineering structures planned by the occupation regime at the so called border line. Official Tbilisi assesses the initiative of the de facto government as another provocation.

Dimitri Sanakoev introduced the initiative of the de facto government to the participants of the meeting at Ergneti.
Official Tbilisi explains that the initiative is just as illegal as every action in the occupied territories. Georgian side will raise the issue at the next round of Geneva negotiations.

Due to statements made by the de facto government, the opposition criticizes the Georgian government and its policy towards Russia. According to their assessment, reacting to the illegal activities is inadequate. The accusations are not recognized by the ruling team.

The government claims that despite the provocations it is necessary to continue the peacekeeping and reconciliation policy.
