NDI survey - population`s attitude towards government, parties and situation in the country

The National Democratic Institute has publicised a part of the results of the social survey. According to the NDI survey, most of the surveyed respondents said that none of the parties was close to their views.. The index was reduced from 40% to 29% after November. More specifically, to a question: Which party is closest to your views, the category "none" has been chosen by 38% of respondents.

29% of respondents said that the Georgian Dream is closest to their opinions; 10% named the United National Movement; 4% said they had no answer to the question; 4% named the Alliance of Patriots; 3% refused to answer the question; 3% named the Labor Party.
. NDI"s research found that 33 percent of the population believes that the country is developing in the right direction, 31 thinks it is wrong. 63% consider themselves unemployed.

While assessing the activities of the government members, the most positively evaluated were the activities of the Minister of Health,while Dimitri Kumsishvili, the Finance Minister, has the highest negative rate. 84% of respondents favor the direct election of the president. The rulin team does not consider the data on the decrease of the support of the Georgian Dream reliable.

The NDI survey reflects the nihilism of the population and that the population has no hope that the ruling party can solve the problems.
