Criminal case launched on frearms seized in house of European Court of Justice judge`s brother stopped

The criminal case which was launched on the frearms seized in house of European Court of Justice judge`s brother has been stopped.

On the basis of a ballistic expertise, the investigation found that the revolver was made in a custody manner, but it was not fit to be used. While the catridges seized by law enforcers were usable.

Investigations interrogated family members wwho confirmed that the seized firearms belonged to Otar Tsotsoria`s deceased father-in-law.

On the basis of the Prosecutor"s Decree of 20 May 2017, the criminal case was suspended due to the death of a person entitled to criminal proceedings.
