Members of the parliamentary majority think that creation of a parliamentary investigative commission is not necessary to investigate the fact of attack on Lasha Tordia, the Head of State Audit Office.

Deputies of the Georgian Dream are still waiting for the prosecution to present the complete picture of the investigation.

"The investigation is under way and it contradicts the regulation to hold parallel investigative actions. We expect the interim report of the investigation and after that , we will wait for the full picture of what actually happened and what we are dealing with, "said Eka Beselia, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Issues.
