The non-governmental organizations are protesting against the abolishment of self-governing status for cities. The aim of the amendment  is incomprehensible to the civil sector, since the government can not substantiate the significance of this reform, and why it wants to abolish the decision taken years ago.

The NGO members evaluate the reform of the ruling team as a step back and link the changes to the upcoming elections of self-governments.

According to NGO members, the ruling team has decided to abolish the status of self-governing cities without consultation with the population and the NGOs.
