The ruling team does not deny that Kakha Kaladze, the Minister of Energy and the Vice Prime Minister, will be considered as Tbilisi mayoral candidate. However, according to the parliamentary majority, the final decision will be taken by the political council.

One of the leaders of the ruling party, Levan Gogichaishvili says that selection of candidates will take some time.

Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania is going to be the head of state audit according to the information spread by media, after Lasha Tordia"s term of office expires.
