NATO Parliamentary Assembly will be opened tomorrow with a joint briefing

On the 26th anniversary of Georgia`s independence Tbilisi will host the NATO Parliamentary Assembly for the first time in the history of the country. This event is a signal of cooperation and partnership with the member states of the alliance itself. Leaders of 28 parliaments, international security experts and NATO`s top executives will talk about global security challenges in Tbilisi for three days.

Declaration in support of Georgia"s Euro-Atlantic integration will be adopted at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

After the opening ceremony tomorrow, the sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Hualing Building. NATO Secretary General Ian Stoltenberg should have taken part in the Tbilisi Forum, however, due to the summit in Brussels, deputy secretary of state, Rose Gotemiuler will arrive in Georgia.
