On the day of Independence of Georgia, 324 recruits took oath at Freedom Square to the highest commander of the country and the country. Prior to taking the oath at Freedom Square, they took a three-month special training course.

After the swearing in ceremony, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Prime Minister and the Head of the Defense Ministry addressed the military gathered at Freedom Square.

Together with the conscripts, NATO"s rapid response and defense training center service were present at Freedom Square. Georgian military equipment was presented to the society today.

For the first time in 26 years of independence, the aviation did not fly over the central square of the capital. The Defense Ministry named as the reason the security of citizens .
