Pilots of the Air Force walked on foot on the Rustaveli Avenue on the Independence Day of Georgia. Defense Ministry namesas the reason the security of the capital because the aviation park of the country has only Iroqese helicopters. It is not recommended that these aircrafts are flown fly over the city.

On May 26, 2016, the pilots were flying in Iroqese helicopters to celebrate Independence Day.

The parliamentary opposition thinks that the government does pay attention not only to military aviation, but to other types of armed forces.

At the expense of reforms and reductions Georgia has already lost about 10 best trained pilots. Specialists left without aircrafts and helicopters are now flying in the African countries.
