She emphasized that today there are problems in mathematics and natural sciences and no effective steps have been taken yet.

"To put it mildly, it is completely unfavorable, but it is probably reflection of the problems that are at the level of school education and these problems need to be solved, but itt will not be solved only with exams," - Maia Miminoshvili said.

She also noted that teachers` qualification is one of the important issues and it is decisive for improving the education system.

Miminoshvili said that on 3-4 June a conference will be held, where the problems will be discussed.
