Interview with candidates for the position of theStrasbourg Court judges continues. Former judge of Constitutional Court, Konstantine Vardzelashvili responded to the questions of commission members several minutes ago.

He said that the chairperson of the commission, Tea Tsulukiani, was mainly interested in the decision made regarding Rustavi 2 case, which as Vardzelashvili said, raises some doubts.

According to the former judge of the Constitutional Court, the Commission was interested whether the decision to suspend certain legislative norms on Rustavi 2 was politically motivated.

According to Vardzelashvili, he had some doubts that the part of the commission members was critical towards him, but he was not expecting any interest to particular   cases in this form.
