The members of the NATO’s Parliamentary Assembly have adopted a declaration in support of Georgia. The Assembly concludes that they support Georgia’s territorial integrity . The Assembly calls on the Russian Federation to recall recognition of Georgia"s occupied regions and withdraw its armed forces from these territories

At the request of the Georgian delegation, a sentence has been added to the paragraph 18 of the declaration , which demands to allow citizens to freely move through the demarcation line.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly calls on the Government of Georgia and Parliament to strengthen independent judiciary, maintain media pluralism, deepen dialogue and reduce tensions between ruling and opposition parties.
