Public Defender was not allowed to attend examination of Cyanide case

A Public Defender was not allowed to attend an examination of the so-called Cyanide Case. As it is known. The substantive discussion of the case begins at the City Court today.

According to Ucha Nanuashvili, the judge refused him because  the process should be held in the closed regime.

The Ombudsman is an institution established by the Constitution that oversees the protection of human rights and freedoms in Georgia.

The trial is under way at the moment.
