A Chairman of the Parliament said that the President is in a deadlock. He made the statement at the press briefing today.

Mr. Kobakhidze clarified his offer once again and said that he had not offered debates, he offered to introduce the constitutional amendments to public using a live broadcast.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Giorgi Margvelashvili"s rejection proves that the President"s position in regard to the new constitutional draft is very weak.

As Irakli Kobakhidze says, the president of Georgia has chosen the wrong way in the beginning of discussions.

"The President chose wrong way from the very beginning, it was the way of confrontation with the parliament, the commission , after the success of this reform has been proved , the president turned out in a deadlock,"- said Kobakhidze.
