Georgian side demands a right to question Afgan Mukhtarly, the Azeri journalist and is waiting for a response from Azerbaijan law enforcement agencies. The statement was made by the Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Irakli Shotadze today.

According to Irakli Shotadze, the Prosecutor"s Office of Georgia has addressed Azeri colleagues with the solicitation of assistance and has requested the materials of the criminal case .

As Mr. Shotadze says the Georgian side will adopt the relevant legal decision after receiving and studying documents and evidences.
