Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli`s wife, Lilia Mustafeva, met with the leader of the Azerbaijani opposition party "Musavat" Arif Hajil.

Mustafayeva informed the opposition leader about the kidnapping of Afgan Mukhtar.

The politician promised to support the journalist`s spouse and talked about the importance of objective investigation of the case .

According to Leila Mustapayeva, Arif Hajjil has already been questioned by the Azerbaijani Prosecutor`s Office regarding the case of Afgan Mukhtar.

According to the journalist`s wife, the Azeri side is trying to link the cases against Afghan Mukhtar and opposition parties.
