32% of respondents claim voter bribery as a major obstacle to free and fair elections - NDI

According to the Public Opinion Survey of the National Democratic Institute, 32% of respondents claim voter bribery as the main obstacle for free and fair elections in Georgia.

On the question - What is the main obstacle to free and fair elections in Georgia - 32% think it is a bribe of voters.

18% think that the main obstacle is the harassment of voters.

14% considers that the main obstacle is money, unfairly spent on the elections from the budget ;

12% name extra ballot papers in the ballot boxes,

12% think that the is a problem that people vote for specific candidates just to maintain their jobs.

11% of respondents name the so-called Carousel ;


The field work of the survey was held on June 18 - July 9. 2261individuals were interviewed.
