Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi and the head of the administration of the City Hall did not come to the sitting of the City Council organized by the "National Movement" based on the decision taken at the City Hall.

Tbilisi Mayor accuses National Movement of misleading  the population regarding employing the staff in the City Hall and is ready to be held responsible in case of violating the law.

The opposition is waiting for clarification over the appointment of more than 600 people in one day.

"Since the" United National Movement "is spreading lies in connection with employment, we have decided not to participate in the meeting so as not to support the planned and predictable scenario which is to mislead the public. In accordance with the legislative requirements, about 600 people who were in the staff were transferred and become freelance employees. If I have broken any regulations, I"m ready to bear responsibility, " - Davit Narmania said.
