Extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili - Opposition speaks about inadequacy of Georgian government

None of the democratic countries are serious about Georgia`s demanding regarding the extradition to Mikheil Saakashvili. Such a response has been followed by the visit of the third president to Poland and statements made by the Polish legislators on this issue.

According to opposition, the demand of Tbilisi is inadequate, which in turn badly affects Georgia.

"By doing so, tremendous damage is done to the state . Because the whole world sees that Georgia has an inadequate government, which has some illusions, "- said Roman Gotsiridze, chairman of the National Movement faction.

Giorgi Tugushi, a member of the parliamentary faction "European Georgia - Movement for Freedom", said that "no democratic state will be serious about the request for extradition when they know that there is an obvious political basis for persecution."

Polish lawmaker Malgozata Gosievska has released a statement regarding Mikheil Saakashvili`s visit to Warsaw yesterday on social networking and said that no state institution in Poland had received a letter regarding extradition of the ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to her, "goodwill and respect, which the Poles express to Mikheil Saakashvili, is universal and does not depend on internal divisions or political sympathies."
