The EU Delegation in Georgia confirms that the country`s government has addressed the EU for assistance with the extinguishing the fire in the Borjomi Gorge.

Brussels will assess the situation in Borjomi Gorge and then the decision will be made based on agreement with the Georgian side.

"We have permanent contacts with the government of Georgia and we will provide the latest information to Brussels," - said Carlo Natale
