The Interior Minister and the leaders of the ruling team do not rule out diversion as a reason of the fire.

The Employees of the Interior Ministry have been carrying out a special operation in the Borjomi hotels for several days.The hotel administration informed the Courier r that the law enforcers request information about tourists.

Minister of Internal Affairs confirms conducting operative activities in hotels.

Criminal and patrol police officers worked for several hours today in Borjomi Gorge.

A 20-liter petrol tank was found at the Borjomi forest. Information has been released on facebook by a screenwriter Aka Sinjikashvili after which he was summoned to the Borjomi police for questioning.

According to official data, in August of 2017, 12 cases of forest fires were recorded, including in areas where forests were burning in August 2008.
