The lawyers of Vazagashvili family appeal to the Prosecutor"s Office and request to launch investigation into the possible fact of pressure on the witness in regard to the so-called Court Case. The lawyers claim that they have been contacted by one of the witnesses of the prosecution side , who has stated that family members of the high-ranking convicts were putting pressure on him and threatened to kill them.

The lawyers of the Vazagashvili family do not name the witness. However, they say that he is one of the main witnesses of the Prosecutor"s Office in the Court Case.

Several former high-ranking officials are serving the sentence in regard to the so-called courts case. The decision of the Tbilisi City Court was first appealed at the Court of Appeals and then at the Supreme Court.
At this time the case is considered by the Supreme Court.
