The apartment of the former head of the police was robbed in Zestaponi. As reported unidentified persons entered David Gigashvili`s house and stole gold items. According to neighbors, criminals had the key to the house, because the door was not broken.

Gigashvili was the head of the Zestaponi district division but was released a few days before the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the fact of theft.
