Demonstration in Batumi - Street vendors block Tsereteli Street

A demonstration is underway in Batumi. Fish traders have blocked Tsereteli Street. The traffic has been suspended for a few minutes. Law enforcement officers have been mobilized on the spot.

The Batumi City Hall has prohibited activities for street vendors , which turned out to be unacceptable for them.

According to local government officials, public space is being restricted by outdoor trade. Batumi City Hall offers an alternative space for outdoor traders.
