Rustavi 2"s case - government plans to answer questions of Strasbourg Court before deadline

The Ministry of Justice has to answer Strasbourg"s questions to Georgia on Rustavi 2 until March 29. However, according to the Minister of Justice of Georgia, the government will not use the term completely.

According to Tea Tsulukiani, the institution will soon be able to send the document to Strasbourg, after which the answers will be sent to the plaintiff and the deadline for submitting the counter arguments will be determined.

Upon completion of the procedure, the European Court of Human Rights will discuss the admissibility of the TV Company"s claim.

"The European Court started to discuss the admissibility of the complaint filed by Rustavi 2. We have sent questions to each applicant. For instance, the European Court asks us whether Rustavi 2 has exhausted the domestic legal appeal. If the answer to this will not be exhausted, then there will certainly be a motion on inadmissibility," Tea Tsulukiani said.
