The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili was postponed at the court of Appeals of Kiev. A panel composed by three judges took into consideration the defender"s petition and postponed the process until January 19. The motion was raised by the defense side because the MPs, who are in charge of the former president of Georgia were not present on the process.

The defendant accused the Prosecutor"s Office of covering the truth. Mikheil Saakashvili presented scandalous documents. According to him, Yanukovych took money from Ukraine with help of Poroshenko"s financiers and now the Prosecutor"s Office tries to link this crime with Saakashvili"s name.

"I blame President Poroshenko for giving him the sanction on withdrawing money abroad. Gontarev"s company has received a certain amount of money. This is unofficial processes of money laundering and the investigation should find it out,"- said Mikheil Saakashvili.
