A rule of pardon will change under the President"s initiative. The amendment has been developed by the Pardon Commission and relates basically to two directions- narcotic and economic crimes.

According to the chairperson of the Pardon Commission, they will take into consideration the non-violent crimes. Amendments will n who do not touch a large number of narcotic drugs and import into the country.

According to Zviad Koridze, the Pardon Commission should not use sentence criteria while discussing the request of those convicts who have committed drug crimes, not including selling of drugs and psychotropic drugs; purchase, storage, import and transit of narcotic substantial in large quantities.
