Russia is concerned with Georgia"s growing cooperation with the United States of America and the growing military cooperation with NATO - the Russian Foreign Ministry has released a statement regarding Abashidze-Karasin meeting in Prague.

"The course chosen by official Tbilisi, along with confrontational anti-Russian actions in the international arena, threatens achievements in terms of bilateral normalization of relations,"- reads the statement was posted on the official website of the Foreign Ministry .

The statement also notes that despite the different political views, the implementation of the customs agreement should be in compliance with its terms.
