A man under the age of 40 was shot dead by masked people in Lomtatidze Street. Neighbors say they heard a few shots.

According to locals, Davit Kmosteli, nicknamed "Dzivita", who grew up in Lomtatidze Street, but now lives in Russia was going to meet his friends in the district.

The area was blocked by a special ribbon throughout the night. Criminals were working on the site of the murder.

In parallel, the neighbors were interrogated in Nadzaladevi district by police all night long.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation into the murder case and the purchase and keeping of firearms.
