A meeting was held at the government administration on visa-liberalization challenges. Sanctions will be imposed on those who violate the visa free regime.
After the meeting, it was found out that the government is planning specific actions.to overcome the challenge of visa-liberalization regime. As it is known, it is planned to take some steps that envisage specific legislative initiatives.

Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration Tamar Khulordava states that according to the initiative, the citizens of Georgia who violate the law in the Schengen zone will be financially responsible.

Eka Beselia, chairperson of the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament, can not see the basis of any panic. According to her, there is no prerequisite for the suspension mechanism to come into operation.
