Efficiency of judicial system - presentation in High Council of Justice

Presentation on the efficiency of the judicial system will be held today in the High Council of Justice.

The changes include distribution of cases to judges, those judges who have two months left for before the expiry of their term will not be given cases anymore.

As for lifetime appointments, all phases of the competition are over.

In the next week, the members of the council will vote for the candidates.

"The High Council of Justice also examines the judges" statements who address the Council to ensure that they are appointed for a lifetime. The Secretary of the Council will also present the report regarding the effectiveness of the court, "said Nazi Janezashvili, a member of the Supreme Council of Justice.
