Owner of the company, to which the Georgian government sold land in Green Cape, was arrested in France

The Government of Georgia sold 20 hectares of land in Green Cape without auction to "Elite Contract Group". The company paid 45 GEL for one square meter of green area, which is half of the commercial price.

The company, to which the land was sold was founded a month before the Prime Minister"s decree and its owners have not invested in any business
projects in Georgia.

Bidzina Ivanishvili"s bank gave a loan for the purchase of the territory which was alienated without auction and the area is loaded with the mortgage "Cartu Bank".

Dachi Chaganava, a 100% shareholder of the company, lives in France.

"Elite Contracting Group", which plans to build a hotel complex, does not hide that trees will be cut if necessary.

The company has no office and it is registered in the apartment of the owner.

According to "Courieri", the owner of "Elite Contracting Group" Davit Chaganava, French was detained two months after the order issued by Prime Minister Kvirikashvili, then Chagavanava was among those 26 Georgians who were accused of collecting the so-called Obshyak for lawful thieves.
