Resolution against Russia - ruling team still failes to agree with opposition

The parliamentary majority and the opposition have not yet been convinced whether the resolution against Russia will includ appeal for sanctions and Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list.

The ruling team says that the criticism and demands of the opposition are incomprehensible to them. According to Vice-Speaker of Parliament Giorgi Volsky, the ruling team is ready to take the draft resolution initiated by it at the plenary session.

According to Giorgi Volski, the opposition"s objective is to confront the Prime Minister"s statement and the above-mentioned resolution is unacceptable for them.

Members of the "European Georgia" are willing to consult with the parliamentary majority for the purpose of having a joint text.

"Unfortunately, this resolution has been delayed. We have offered our version, the main task of our version is to establish the so called Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list and therefore are ready for consultation, "-said Sergi Kapanadze.

The National Movement is accusing the government of pursuing a capitulant policy.

"The Georgian government has failed to receive a single resolution and the capitulation policy of our government has become more visible to Russia and that Georgia will always be blackmailed and pressured by Russia," said Roman Gotsiridze.
