"It was peaceful action of youth" - Sandro Bregadze assessed attack on Rustavi 2

According to him, there was no violence and as for Rustavi 2 journalist Davit Eradze, who was physically assaulted, Sandro Bregadze said he did not attend this fact.

Another member of the movement, Lado Sadgobelashvili, said that they demanded only an apology from Giorgi Gabunia.

The attack occurred on Rustavi 2 broadcasting company about two hours ago. The members of the so-called Georgian Marshteam made an ambush to the channel"s anchor Giorgi Gabunia. After the TV presenter left the building along with Rustavi 2"s lawyer Tamta Muradashvili, the car was besieged. The liberty of Giorgi Gabunia and Tamta Muradashvili was illegally restricted for half an hour. The car is damaged. The members of the Marsh attempted to break down the windshild , to open the doors by force and physically assault the people in the car.

The demonstartors were also attacking journalists who were covering the incident and carrying out their professional duties. Davit Eradze is beaten and he was taken to the Republican hospital by the urgent emergency brigade.
