Ringo Starr received a knighthood. The award ceremony of the former drummer of Beatles was held at Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Cambridge bestowed the honour on the 77-year-old legendary musician.

He arrived at the palace with his wife, Barbara Bach.

Ringo Starr joined the Beatles in 1962, and after the collapse of the band, he continued the solo career.
