Another kidnapping in Shida Kartli - presumably, for Illegal crossing of the border Russian border guards detained two Georgian citizens The incident took place near the village of Adzhi, near St. George"s church.

The residents of Adzvi and Akhalubani villages, Ioseb Gundishvili and Davit Gerkuli were detained by the occupants when they were walking towards the church.

Citizens of Georgia have been kidnapped several times from the territory of the church.

Their car was found by Georgian law enforcers near the Cathedral.

The exact reason of their kidnapping and their wherabouts  are unknown.
