"European Georgia" summons Foreign Minister to Parliament

"European Georgia" is summoning Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze to the Parliament tomorrow. One week before the Geneva talks, the opposition wants to find out whether the Georgian side intends to join the declaration, which Moscow is interested in.

The case concerns the non-use of force for the return of the occupied territories, which Georgia has already officially declared before the international community and the same decision is expected from Moscow.

Mikheil Janelidze did not say if the proposal of "European Georgia" will be adopted. Mikheil Janelidze says that there is nothing agreed and final decision will be made in Switzerland.

The "National Movement" speaks of possible threats from Russia and calls on the government to be cautious.

Former participant of the Geneva Discussions, Shota Utiashvili considers that if the Georgian side goes to compromise, Moscow will have a much stronger guarantee, for example, an international security mechanism on the occupied territories.

Less than a week is left before the next round of Geneva negotiations. On Tuesday
