Archil Tatunashvili"s civil funeral service is being held in St. George"s church in Tserovani.

Today the whole Georgia is mourning the Georgian soldier tortured by the Russian occupation regime.

Akhalgori Municipality Governor Nugzar Tinikashvili notes that "today"s situation is a continuation of the 2008 war".

"Archil Tatunashvili sacrificied himself to his homeland. That"s all for the love of the motherland, "-Nugzar Tinikashvili said.

Levan Gogichaishvili, the secretary of the faction Georgian Dream for "strong Georgia", notes that the Georgian government will do its best not to have this fact repeated again.

According to Shalva Shavgulidze, chairman of Free Democrats, the main goal is to return the occupied territories.

Archil Tatunashvili will be buried at the Brothers" Cemetery in Mukhadverdi, with full military honors.
