The parliamentary opposition calls on the Minister of Justice to attend the meeting of the Gender Equality Council of Parliament and demands to review the case of the former head of the Public Registry.

The opposition is interested in why the minister did not respond to the appeal of the Public Registry employee who accused Papuna Ugrekhelidze of violence and sexual harassment.

The Board Chair and Vice-Speaker Tamar Chugoshvili has already rejected once the request of the . opposition; however, whether the attitude of the parliamentary majority on this issue will change is yet unknown.

The "National Movement" state that the ruling team is covering up the head of the public registry, who is accused of sexual harassment by employees of the public registry. According to Tina Bokuchava, Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Chugoshvili is trying to cover up the minister Tsulukiani today.

"It is very regrettable that the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, the chair of the Gender Council, a woman politician refuses to hear from Tsulukiani explanations about why Papuna Ugrekhelidze was covered up this time. Tamar Chugoshvili is also trying to cover up Tea Tsulukiani in this case, "Tinatin Bokuchava said.
